Ciaran Murtagh is a writer and actor. He is the co-creator of the hit improvised comedy show for kids Professor Bumm's Story Machine and has enjoyed sell-out runs in London's West End, at the Edinburgh Festival and across the UK.
He has appeared in two series of CBBC's The Slammer and is also a writer on the show. Most recently he has been scripting the new show for Dick and Dom – The Legend of Dick and Dom – for the BBC and Planet Adjay from the same people who brought you Basil Brush.
He lives in London with his girlfriend and his blanky and has a lovely daughter called Eleanor. He is an unapologetic fan of the music of A-ha and still sucks his thumb. It is unclear which of these two facts is more embarassing to his friends and family.
