When Julie was a child she was always ‘telling tales’. Not the, ‘she put soap on mytoothbrush,’ sort of tale but tales where she made everyday happenings into something bigger than they really were.

She loved to watch people’s reactions to my stories. She also loved to read. She always had my nose in a book and NEVER left the house without one - she still doesn't!

Putting these two things together – a love of telling tales and a love of reading them – it seemed natural that at she should start writing her own stories.
