Lynne Garner has lived on the Essex/Hertfordshire border
for the last twenty years. She shares her life with her fiancé Jon,
their Belgium Sheppard/Doberman cross puppy Tasha (who now rules
both their lives), and a varying number of hedgehogs (she run
a hedgehog rescue service from a shed at the end of the garden
- that's where the original idea for A Book For Bramble came
from). Her time is juggled between family life, teaching at a local college
(design and sewing), caring for sick/injured and orphaned hedgehogs
and writing. She loves the countryside and will often take long
walks with the dog with camera in hand, wildlife photography
being one of my passions. Although this is her first children's
book, she has been writing as a freelance writer since 1997.
She has seven books (mainly craft related) already published
and another due to be published sometime in 2006.
