Sarah Gill originally studied degree in textiles at Nottingham and then after working and travelling in Europe for a few years did a BTEC in Illustration at Chelsea college of Art and went on to do an MA in Sequential design at Brighton University. Just married last year to Nick a Homeopath. I work part time managing an Artefacts Library which is a huge handling collection loaning out to schools in the North London area full of weird and wonderful artefacts from giant turtles shells to Viking knit combs! Since finishing my MA three years ago I have been selected two years running for the AOI Images jury selected catalogue and last year I had my first commission with Usborne publishing to illustrate a non-fiction picture book The Rainy Day.
