Sue was educated in Hammersmith and at Canterbury College of Art. She now lives in north London.

Whenever possible Sue likes to do humorous work, usually drawing with watercolour and dip pen. Increasingly she is working in educational publishing with the aim of making textbooks more humorous and palatable to children.

Sue loves cats and guinea pigs – she has four guinea pigs of her own. She enjoys her allotment and is currently running a novelty vegetable competition. She is also attending computer classes but continues to resist using her computer unless absolutely necessary.

In addition to illustrating, Sue also writes children’s books. She has written and illustrated numerous titles for Piccadilly Press including four picture books in the Baby Animal series: Baby Panda, Baby Elephant, Baby Lemur and Baby Tiger. Baby Elephant has been selected as a SATS choice since 2002.
