There comes a time in almost everybody’s life when they have a brilliant idea. Honeysuckle Lovelace’s Brilliant Idea is to set up a Dog Walkers’ Club with her friends. She can spend time with her favourite animals and earn some money to help mend the leaky houseboat where she and her mum live.

The club’s first ‘client’ is Cupid, Mrs Whitely-Grub’s pinky-white poodle who barely even passes for a dog. As Cupid becomes a regular client, Honeysuckle is increasingly suspicious of his owner.
