Little Croc and Bird

Little Croc learns that playing nicely can be more fun than being naughty

Little Croc was always getting into trouble.
He just couldn’t help it!
“Play nicely,” said Mummy Croc.
“Don’t annoy the other animals,” said Daddy Croc.
“I won’t,” said Little Croc…
But he did!

Little Croc just can’t resist teasing the other animals in the jungle. He shouts at the zebras and uses the hippos as stepping stones. He swings on the monkeys’ tails and panics the parrots. He’s so naughty that the other animals start to hide when they see him coming!

That’s when Bird appears and shows Little Croc a much better way – that playing with and caring for the other animals is much more fun than teasing them all the time. Little Croc manages to behave . . . most of the time!

'This funny story will appeal to mischievious little children, and hopefully get across the message to play nicely too!'
Family Interest Magazine

'A useful story for children whose overly boistrous play might be leaving them short of playmates, and the fun ending - showing that a little croc isn't expected to behave all the time - lightens the underlying message.'
