Damian Kelleher is a freelance journalist, writer, publishing consultant and project manager, specialising in the field of children’s media.

He began his career in children’s journalism at the award-winning Young Telegraph, and was editor was four years. Damian has a special interest in books for the youth market and has been book editor and reviewer on many national newspapers. He sits on the panel for major book awards, frequently chairs children’s book events and works as a consultant on youth projects for media. In Nov 2007, Damian chaired teenage events for the recently launched Richard and Judy Children’s Book Club.

He is married and lives in north London with his wife and two teenage children.
